Terms and Conditions for Consignment

Agreement: By consigning items with The Pool Room, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
Consignment Period: The consignment period is 90 days from the date the item is listed for sale. After this period, unsold items must be collected within 14 days or they will become the property of The Pool Room.
Pricing: The initial sale price of the consigned items will be mutually agreed upon by the consignor and The Pool Room. The Pool Room reserves the right to adjust prices to facilitate sales, with prior consent from the consignor.
Commission: The Pool Room will retain a commission of 20% of the final sale price. The remaining amount will be paid to the consignor within 14 days of the sale.
Payment: Payments to consignors will be made via EFT within 14 days after the sale of the item.
Liability: The Pool Room is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to consigned items. Consignors are encouraged to insure their items.
Termination: Either party may terminate this agreement at any time by providing written notice. Upon termination, unsold items must be collected within 7 days.
Authenticity: The consignor guarantees that all items are authentic and legally owned. Any counterfeit or stolen items will be returned to the consignor and the agreement terminated.
Marketing: The Pool Room reserves the right to photograph and use images of consigned items for marketing purposes.

Q: How do I consign items with The Pool Room 

A: To consign items, please visit our store or contact us through our website to schedule an appointment. We will review your items and agree on pricing and terms.

Q: What types of items do you accept for consignment? 

A: We accept sports memorabilia, collectibles, and pop culture items. All items must be authentic and in good condition.

Q: How long will my items be on consignment? 

A: The consignment period is 90 days. If your items do not sell within this period, you will need to collect them within 14 days.

Q: What is your commission rate? 

A: Our commission rate is 20% of the final sale price, unless agreed upon.

Q: How and when will I get paid?

 A: You will be paid via EFT within 14 days after your item sells.

Q: What happens if my items get lost or damaged? 

A: While we take great care of all consigned items, The Pool Room is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage. We recommend insuring your items.

 A: We will photograph and use images of your items for marketing purposes, including our website, social media, and in-store displays.
